History Time!

GH Porters has a history dating back to at least 1890, where it has been smoking meats since.

According to Google the oldest smoker in the UK is R J Balson and Son in Dorset however, yes they are the oldest BUTCHERS but their smoker wasn't introduced until 1907. Making our smoker the oldest in the world!

We need to spread the word, let everyone know that we, GH Porters, have the oldest smoker EVER! And we all know that older means it works better (Not to go on a rant about modern technology failing all the time) so come and try our smoked meats! They contain over a century of knowledge from past butchers.
